Park and ride fare changes from 28 September

We’re introducing new park and ride fares from 28 September 2025, the first update since the service began in 2014.
We need to adjust fares to ensure the service remains efficient, reliable, and sustainable amid rising operational costs. Despite the increase, park and ride continues to offer excellent value for money, especially for groups and regular travellers.
What’s changing?
We’ve streamlined the fare structure by keeping the options most popular amongst frequent travellers, providing a simpler choice whilst retaining the flexibility our passengers rely on.
The updated fare structure is:
- Day ticket – £5
- Day ticket with Hoverbus add-on – £7
- 10-trip Flexipass – £35
- 20-trip Flexipass – £60
- 50-trip Flexipass – £145
Flexipass fares remain the most convenient and cost-effective option for regular travellers, offering savings and the freedom to travel on any day within your trip allowance. Depending on the pass you choose, each return journey works out at just £2.90 to £3.50 per day, making it a smart choice for families, friends, and colleagues.
If you currently hold a weekly, monthly, or annual pass, please continue to use your remaining credit. Once it expires, switch to a Flexipass to continue enjoying flexible and affordable travel.
