Fares are increasing to help cover rising operational costs and support the continued running and improvement of the service. This is the first fare change since the service launched in 2014.
The updated fares will come into effect from 28 September 2025.
We’ve streamlined the fare structure by keeping the options most popular amongst frequent travellers, which provides a simpler choice whilst retaining the flexibility our passengers rely on.
The updated fare structure is:
- Day ticket – £5
- Day ticket with Hoverbus add-on – £7
- 10-trip Flexipass – £35
- 20-trip Flexipass – £60
- 50-trip Flexipass – £145
You can continue using your current pass until it expires. From 28 September, when the new fares take effect, you’ll be able to purchase a Flexipass range 10, 20, or 50. Please note that the weekly, monthly, and annual passes will no longer be available, but our new simplified fare structure is designed to offer flexibility and remains great value for regular travellers.

Even with the changes, Portsmouth Park & Ride remains a cost-effective, convenient, and sustainable alternative to city centre parking, especially when you car share or purchase a Flexipass. It’s a smart and affordable choice for families, friends, and colleagues, working out at only £1 per person return on a day ticket fare.
The Flexipass continues to offer great value for frequent travellers, with each return journey costing between £2.90 and £3.50 per day, and the flexibility to travel on any day within your trip allowance.
