Hop on the PR3 for summer weekend events

We’re delighted to welcome visitors to Portsmouth and Southsea for an exciting summer season packed with events.

Southsea will be buzzing with activity, with many of the main weekend events taking place on Southsea Common, and the popular Southsea Food Festival around Palmerston Road, creating a vibrant atmosphere for residents and visitors.

As Portsmouth celebrates its special centenary year, many events are getting a Portsmouth 100 twist. Expect everything from live music and spectacular fireworks to a city-wide sculpture trail and more.

Getting there couldn’t be easier if you’re travelling from the north of the city or further afield. Our PR3 summer weekend service provides convenient access, with stops at Clarence Pier, Southsea Pyramids and Avenue De Caen.

PR3 Buses run every weekend throughout the summer, from now until 13 September. For journeys to the city centre and the Gunwharf Quays area, the PR1 will continue to operate daily, every 15 minutes all year round (except Christmas Day).
