Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix (Sail GP) – Southsea Common
Get set for an exhilarating weekend of world class, high-tech catamaran racing as thirteen national teams get set to battle for victory in the Solent.
How to get there:
- Take the PR3 to Clarence Pier – it’s just a short walk to the race zone
- Buses run every 30 minutes and journeys take 21 minutes
- First bus leaves at 9.35am and the last return service departs Clarence Pier at 7.24pm
Clipper Race Grand Finale – Gunwharf Quays (PR1)
As the Clipper Race rounds off an eleven month, 47,000-mile yacht race around the world, enjoy the grand finale at Gunwharf Quays. The weekend will feature a Fan Zone, live music, a Parade of Sail, and open-boat tours of the racing yachts.
How to get there:
- Take the PR1 to The Hard – it’s just a short walk to Gunwharf Quays
- Buses run every 15 minutes and journeys take 12 minutes
- First bus leaves at 8am (Sat) and 9am (Sun)
- Final return bus departs Clarence Pier at 7.15pm (Sat) and 6pm (Sun)
